MAUI PADDLING HUI

Maui Paddling Hui (formerly Maui Canoe and Kayak Club) operates a racing series on the island of Maui, often called "one man season." The races include OC-1 and OC-2 (one and two person outrigger canoes), surfski (racing kayak), prone and stand-up paddle (SUP) boards.

There is no registration, the fun paddle will start at 8:30am with costume contest after. You must have paddled in your costume to be eligible for the contest.

Paddle For The Hungry

Course: KCC pier to river mouth boardwalk, turn on buoy, proceed past KCC, turn on second buoy by Ohukai St. pavillion, back to KCC pier. Optional short course for SUP or whoever wants to cut it short back to pier. No pressure!
Entry Fee: A donation to Maui Food Bank. Money or canned or dry foods. You can visit the Maui Food Bank website for a list of the food items they need most.

We are a mobile wood-fired pizza business. Using our handmade doughs and sauces, we prepare and cook a delicious pizza in our italian-style clay oven. Realizing most people on Maui have not experienced a traditional wood-fired pizza, two paddling buddies joined together to form The Outrigger Pizza Company. They completed Hawaii's first mobile pizza oven in March of 2010. You can now find them throughout the island of Maui and soon on outer islands.

This is an open ocean race, participants must have open ocean experience. There will be a section on the entry form for you to describe your open ocean experience on OC-1/OC-2/SS/SUP. Our goal is simple, to bring you the best canoe for your size and paddling style. We took a proven design and created alternate versions with slightly different specs so every paddler will have a boat that is right for him or her.
